Florida Nursery, Growers, and Landscape Association (FNGLA)
Covey Wise III is a Certified Landscape Contractor. He demonstrated his skills in 19 essential areas needed for quality design and installation in the green industry - and the professional designation of CLC was earned.

Established in 1990 by the Landscape Contracting Division of the Florida Nurserymen & Growers Association (FNGA), the Florida Certified Landscape Contractor (FCLC) program was designed to raise the standards within the industry and to award recognition to those in the landscape profession who have demonstrated a high level of competency.

Designation as a CLC sets these individuals apart from the "here today--gone tomorrow" companies that are prevalent today. Especially in Florida, where state licensing for landscape contractors is not a requirement to do business, it is important to provide the public with a means of discerning quality companies in the green industry.

Nancy Wise is a Florida Certified Horticulture Professional (FCHP). The FNGLA Certified Horticulture Professional (FCHP) program is the industry's only standard for measuring horticulture knowledge on everything from plant and pest identification to landscape management.

We are proud members of the LMA! Our VP of Operations, Covey Wise III is a past president of the organization.

LMA members must agree to uphold the goals and objectives of the organization as follows: To increase officer and employee qualifications and proficiency in horticultural practices; To deal honestly and fairly with the public and to avoid and condemn practices which tend to bring discredit upon the industry; To engage in practices that enhance the well being of the environment and to discourage practices detrimental to the environment; To encourage the dissemination of knowledge, research, and education in the field of Landscape Maintenance; To comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the owning and operating of a landscape maintenance business.

A desire to know and 'grow' our community is important to us, and being a member of the HBA offers many opportunities for growth - personally and professionally.

The HBA provides valuable information and support to companies in the industry, and provides educational programs and services for the public and for its members. The HBA also fosters our ability to continue doing business with the professonalism we strive to uphold.

*Other Certifications/Licenses
Several Wise Landscaping, Inc. employees hold Limited Pesticide Licenses - in compliance with state law regarding weed/pest control chemical application. License holders are required to engage in continuing education throughout the year, accumulating a certain number of Continued Education Units (CEU's) to maintain licensure.

Wise Landscaping, Inc. holds a license issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture as a Dealer in Agricultural Products.
